Philosophical Longing
In the vast eternity of the cosmos, Where stars twinkle and alight, We ponder on the mysteries Of the universe’s grand design.
What lies beyond the void Of our limited perception? Are there other cosmos out there Or are we a mere exception?
What is the purpose of existence? What is the meaning of our lives? Is there a grand design, Or do we just survive?
"Yes," we say, triumphant through light and love and hope. "Yes" to the purpose, "yes" to the meaning, and "yes" to a grand design. We search our own mortality through an ever-ending philosophy.
But perhaps the greatest mystery Is the one that lies within The depths of our own consciousness And the journey we begin.
Through the eyes of longing, we come to find the truth That what lies within is the power to transform.
For the meaning of life is out there, In our hearts and souls, To love, to create, to discover, And to find our own unique roles.
